Reward Checking
Reward Yourself
Our Reward Checking is our newest checking product. With Reward Checking, you can earn a high yield on your checking balance without having to worry about minimum balance or per transaction fees. Reward Checking accounts are reviewed at the end of each month and, if all requirements are met, are paid a high yield on balances up to $25,000. Balances over $25,000 that meet the requirements still receive a great rate.
However, if the requirements are not met in a particular month, there is nothing to worry about! You will not be charged a fee, you will just earn a nominal interest rate for that month and then your account will be reviewed again at the end of the following month.
- United@Home User (online account access)
- E-Statement User
- Must have 12 signature based debit card transactions per month (PIN-based transactions do not count)
- Direct Deposit into Checking
In addition to the high interest you will be earning. Reward Checking members, who meet all requirements, will not be charged by UCU for ATM transactions. Plus, if you use a foreign machine (one other than a United Credit Union machine), withdrawal from checking and receive a surcharge from that financial institution, UCU will rebate up to $20 per month in surcharges, as long as requirements are met.
Reward Checking really is a win-win account. Call or come by today to open your Reward Checking! If you are already a UCU Checking Account Holder, just call a friendly Member Service Representative to get your account switched over to Reward Checking!
